Looking for a unique gift idea or looking to learn a new skill yourself! Why not book a private online class? This is a wonderful new opportunity to experience making authentic Japanese dishes from the comfort of your own kitchen
A dedicated 2 hour class where you have the option to work with Reiko to design your own menu.
Reiko will be cooking the same dishes online alongside you, demonstrating step by step how to create some delicious Japanese dishes. You can also use this opportunity to ask Reiko question generally about Japan, Japanese cookery, culture and travel.

-Welcome & Greeting: Introduction of the class ; how it all works, tech/housekeeping rules
-Introduction to ingredients and dishes
-Cooking starts (Reiko will be virtually cooking alongside you)
-Q&A – please ask as many question as you like as we cook
-Dish up and toast with the drinks of your choice

One screen (up to 2 people) – £230
Two screens (up to 4 people) – £280
Three screens (up to 6 people) – £320
*Reiko can arrange “Authentic Japanese Cooking Set” from Sous Chef which includes all the essential store cupboard Japanese ingredients as well as Reiko’s first cookbook “Hashi” to be delivered to you with extra cost upon request.
*Menu will be discussed with Reiko upon setting the date. ie; special dietary requirement, special occasion or purpose.
*Reiko will send you all the information well in advance of the class – what you need to obtain (kitchen utensils, fresh ingredients, drinks to match). Log-in details and recipes will be sent together upon confirming your booking.
3 dishes of your choice: one menu consists of 3 dishes (one main and two side dishes), excluding a plain rice. Menu can be tailor-made for you with your preference and dietary requirements
Meat – A:Japanese sticky ginger meatballs, pickled fennel and cucumber salad, Takikomigohan (flavoured rice)
Chicken – Chicken & vegetable katsu, Tonjiru & chunky veg miso soup, Broccoli & green bean with Gomadare sauce (creamy sesame sauce)
Fish/Seafood – Salmon & avocado poke (chirashi), Prawn soba noodle salad with ginger sesame dressing, Sumashi jiru (clear dashi soup).
Vegetarian – Tofu steak with miso spinach toppings, Oyako Donburi (shiitake mushroom & egg rice bowl), Japanese Coleslaw
Vegan – Hijiki seaweed & edamame rice, Agedashi dofu in clear ginger broth, Nasu dengaku (miso aubergine)
Sushi – Two types of sushi rolls (thin roll & inside-out roll, Nigiri hand-mould sushi)
